The common unit used for model usage, wallet balance, gifts, and rewards.

The Credits unit

1 USD = 1,000 Credits

Payments are still collected in their displayed currency. The resulting wallet value and product usage are shown in Credits.

Credits give every model a clear input and output rate without showing internal dollar-based usage. Model rates are stated per one million tokens.

(input tokens × input rate + output tokens × output rate) ÷ 1,000,000

The result is the Credits consumed by a completed request.

Reserve
An estimated amount is temporarily reserved before the model call.

Settle
When the response completes, actual input and output tokens replace the estimate.

Release
Unused reservation value is returned automatically.
